A variety of aviation graphics are now produced in a black and white version in addition to the color versions. These products are distributed internally for display in AviationSentry Online, and externally to customers via FTP. The information in this document pertains to those files distributed via FTP.

File Characteristics

The black and white graphics are produced on the same schedule as their color counterparts.

As separate products, they have their own distinct file name names based on file extension. The file name format is as follows:

[rr][pppp][hh]_[eee]_00.GIF

Where:

rr = region code
pppp = product identifier
hh = hour (note: some products always show ’00’)
eee = extension

The following region codes are defined for the black and white files. Note that a particular region may have more than one region code due to differing projections.
